RA -- Posted by Shellie Marino on 07-09-04 10:21

I am 47 and was diagnosed about 20 years ago. I am now disabled can not
work or do much of anything. I have tried all the latest drugs. The
latest was Humiria. The side affects have been unbearable and my RA Doc
says he doesn't think its the medicine. But all the research I've done
goes right back to Humiria. I don't have prescriptions coverage, does
anyone have any ideas on this medicine and if it also had bad affects on
them also. I quit taking the shots about a month ago. But still am
having some of the side affects, and some I don't believe will ever go
away.

Hi Shellie,,,, You do not say what those side effects are for you. I
have had RA over 25 years and have read and post in the arthritis for a very
long time. I am going to say that I have read no posts about bad side
effects of Humiria.
Side effects from a month ago after stopping is not the medicine......
If you do not mind,,, what is your medicine history for the 20 years.
I hope you are on SS disability.
Please explain a little more about what exactly you call a side effect
in your case.
