new health forums with doctors new health forums with doctors -- Posted by Leo on 10-18-04 16:40
I created a forum for discussions about health issues. I am a doctor,
and the idea is to answer questions online (not medical advice,
obviously). This is a free resource, and users do not need to register
to view or to post.

some helpful info leo forgot to put here, but posted elsewhere:
In my website I have an area where I have a full disclosure, but
nonetheless: my name is Leonardo Faoro, MD, and I am a senior medical
resident at Mayo Clinic. I will be moving to Chicago next year, where I
will start my training in Hematology and Oncology at the University of
Chicago. I have no connections to any companies whatsoever. I have opted
to not have users register to view or vote, so that participation is
completely anonymous. I do not intend to provide medical advice, as this
can be done only in a doctor-patient relationship, but I am happy to share
the information that I know, and if I don't know, I will try to get
someone that knows it.
So far my biggest problem is getting people to know that my website
exists. If you can help to spread the word I would appreciate it.

So, if he can't give medical advice, what's he going to talk about,
decorating?
