Looking for chair that's good on my back

Looking for chair that's good on my back -- Posted by Kendra Boarman on 11-01-04 13:51

Anyone know of something good for the office but not too hard on the
bank account. I work from home and after a few hours of sitting, my
lower back is killing me. Ouch!

Google "Miller Aeron Ergonomic Desk Chair"....

My son has one and it's wonderful. It is a little pricey.

I have a smaller leather ergonomic chair from Office Depot. Bought it on
sale 1/2 off...not so bad.

It's nice quality, has arms and serves the purpose.

Good luck.

Patricia

Herman Miller is way over priced.
Global Chair in Toronto used to make a very good chair.
I used to sell about $300,000 worth of them annualy to Radio Shack back
in the 1980's

The aeron chair has served me well. I also believe I experience feeling
less pain using my roomba robot vacuum. The newer models have a bigger
dust bin, so I would recommend one of those.

God bless

It is very strange that the years teach us patience - that the shorter
our time, the greater our capacity for waiting.

Not sure this will help. I have DDD and I went to Office Depot and
actually sat in them and my boss bought the one I wanted. It wasn't
the most expensive, it was quite reasonable. I tried the chairs
designed for backs....most were rock hard or very expensive.

My suggestion is to actually try the chair before you buy! Sam's is a
good place to try too!

You can buy a good ergonomic chair from Staples, Office Depot or Office
Max at a reasonable price.
