Celebrex heart attack and stroke Celebrex heart attack and stroke -- Posted by kr0 on 01-06-05 07:33
Apparently Celebrex is another pharmaceutical increasing the risk of heart
attack and stroke. I checked out
http://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/celebrex and found that Celebrex
is similar very similar to Vioxx, and can have the same side effects. If you
take a look at the site they have some interesting information on Celebrex
as well as a free case evaluation. I hope this may be of some help.

It was odd that the Thurs. before the announcement came about the
dangers of Celebrex, I had been to my physician and asked him the blunt
question if Celebrex was safe? He explaind to me that even though
Vioxx and Celebrex are both Cox 2 inhibitors, they take very different
pathways in affecting the pain relief. I have osteo as a result of 4
episodes of Lyme's Disease and have decided to continue to take
Celebrex in the lower dosage range.
During the weekend that the news coverage was heavy about Celebrex, CNN
had a cariologist on who said the same thing as my physician. I am a
nurse and cannot do my work without relief of pain and I have found no
help from Ibuprophen, Naprosyn, or anything else. So, that's my
position on it for me; for now anyway. I am watching this very closely
to say the least.
