I want you to believe this,,,,, you have been reported for advertising here
in a newsgroup that does not allow it.

Hey Harv,

The guy gave a personal recommendation cut him some slack. If I found and
use a product that works for me who cares if I'm compensated for telling
others about it? I have a close friend who is a Physician and gets lots of
goodies from Drug Companies for recommending their newest and best drug.

I have seen people in this forum personally endorse drugs like Vioxx,
Celebrex, etc I'm wondering what their true motivation is? Do the drugs
work for them or do they own shares in Merick and Pfizer ?

just curious "Barney" ;)

well, EL/Rick - as a 'consultant, you, of all people, should understand the
value and need to properly research the 'correct' marketing methods to reach a
targeted audience...

in this instance the spammer blatantly served up commercial advertising in
direct violation of the usenet charter of this group - not at all the same thing
as a discussion of personal use; and even if we are to believe the spammer
actually uses it himself, he still cannot peddle his wares here.

this is certainly something that you are concerned with given that you use a
jetable addy as well as a hotmail addy - saves you having to wade through spam,
and that is one of the reasons you use them, is it not?

as to the comparison to someone who ones stock ----pllllleeeeese do not fall for
that old rubric - it is so boring for someone to bring that up - an elementary
discussion of economics disposes of any comparison.

this is solely about 'direct' advertising - and i suspect that you really do
know that, given that you are also engaged in direct marketing:

Well the original poster of the thread said the product worked for him and
who knows, perhaps it might work for others as well. Isn't the idea to find
relief ? Don't be so naive

lol - the only naive one here would possibly be yourself -

what you simply do not want to address it that this newsgroup has a usenet
charter and that it prohibits commercial postings.

what part of that do you not understand? you yourself are in the marketing
business, what part of the generic spam email/postings discussion have you
missed out on?

this is not about information, or spammy would have simply given it - it was -
and is - about spammy trying to gull the credulous and garner sales. for which
all spammers get busted here...

simple, isn't it?
