Can anyone suggest a medication?

Hi, My dad is in his 70s and has developed arthritis in his knees and
one shoulder. Hes not taking any medication for pain. Can someone
suggest a medication that has brought them relief? Is there any
consensus on which medication is best for the arthritis? Thanks

Naproxen sodium (Aleve) might be a possibility until your father can
see a doctor. My mother claims that she and her friends do well when
given diclofenac.

That works well for me too but this man may already have stomach problems
and this will make it worse.

Are you referring to Naproxen sodium or diclofenac?

Naproxen Sodium or Aleve. Diclofenac must be gotten by prescription
from a doctor and the doctor should be consulted about any addition or
change.

oh, my husband has also been suffering from this. Till the time he is
on medication it gives him relief but the problem recurs again.
finally my doctor gave him aristocort which I purchased from
http://www.drugdelivery.ca/ and since then he has been feeling much
better.
