Hello All,
If I crush my wife's Metformin HCL pills, will it be harmful to her in any
way? Does anyone do this? I cannot find an answer to this question
anywhere. My wife is 66 years old and fairly beatup with health problems
over the past decade. The Metformin pills are so big she often chokes on
them.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Some versions absolutely can not be crushed or broken up because they are
extended release. Why don't you contact her doctor and ask him or if that
isn't possible how about asking your pharmacist?
