Specialist?

Specialist? -- Posted by Confused Man on 09-13-05 19:51

Hello all,

this may seem a stupid question, and if so I sincerly apologize... but if
I'm looking for a doctor who specializes in Diabetes.... what would be the
official term for that specialty? I'm looking through my health insurances
"Doc Find" and searching by specialty but honestly have no idea what the
specialty would be called...

Thank you all,
Confused Man

Mine is a specialist in diabetes, or is described as such. They work in an
"internal medicine" department of their health organization.

Try endocrinology as a speciality with diabetes being a sub-specialty
