If it's the blood pressure being reduced that protects the kidneys,
wouldn't also have the same effect for the eyes???
Oddly enough, altce seems to have dropped my BG from approx 100-130 to
85-120. The Pharmacist running my diabetes education class says that's
not the 1st time she's heard that, either!
