So happy to find a NG like this! Sure hope enough others will see it
also & because of it,...it will grow! Can be so helpful! I hope it`s
okay if I join. I take one "Glipizide"pill before breakfast & was told
to eat within 20 minutes after taking the pill, but is it okay to eat,as
SOON as I swallow the pill or not? TIA,to anyone who responds!

Welcome to the club no one wants to belong to...sorry you had to join.
Alt.support.diabetes is another great newsgroup, and it sees more action
than this one does, so you might want to check that out.
Misc.health.diabetes is also a good resource.

My diabetes educator told me Glipizide (Glucotrol) works more efficiently
when it's taken 1/2 hour before eating. It's always best to check with your
health care professional if you're not sure about something, since diabetes
care is tailored to each individual.

Glucotrol (glipizide) 10 mg.

Hello Mary,

I echo Karen's sentiments: "Sorry you had to join this club!" This is the
first visit here for me. Karen's advice about seeking advice from your
health care provider is very sound advice indeed. You would be well--served
to run any information you find online (most places) by your health care
provider.

Blessings on your spirit and your health.

Regards,
Steve
