-- I have none of the so called pre-cursers for type 2 onset......however,
at the time I contracted diabetes, I was employed in an incredibly high
stress position.

Has anyone run across an literature/online source, that can substantiate
stress as a major contributor to type 2 onset ?

I have some of the precursors of diabetes, but as it happens, I was also
in a very high stress position when I started seeing the signs of diabetes.
Maybe it does have an effect - stress can do some awfully weird things to
the body.

PS: Costa Rican Tarrazu coffee - isn't that the stuff that has gone through
a cat or something?

coffe you can find. I know of the cat stuff your referring to; if people wan
to do that, it's thier own business.

Siggy - I don't have the symptome for type 2 either.

If you use artificial sweetener or drink diet sodas it could be your
problem & doctors won't find it.

Aspartame, according to FDA list of 92 reactions - mimics Diabetes;
messes with blood sugar control & causes weight gain.
