Ugh, cute. Well, that reaction serves as a good example of how the
anti-aging marketers and other fraudsters have successfully made
everyone enormously suspicious of anything new.

"Fight Aging!" is an extension of a long running pro-real-science news
and advocacy site that I run. I don't sell anything, and I am not
beholden to any group that does sell anything. I am primarily an
advocate for research: my take is that successful research funding in
any field requires widespread support and understanding - hence my
efforts to get out and promote healthy life extension and the real,
scientific fight against aging and age-related conditions.

I don't touch on diabetes all that often (and hence didn't post the
original message to these groups), but diabetes is one of the
age-related conditions that does see related research news posted at
the Longevity Meme every now and again.
