Sleep and diabetes

Sleep and diabetes -- Posted by DIONYSUS on 03-01-04 22:19

I've recently been diagnosed with borderline diabetes at 52 yrs old
because my blood sugar was 130 after 12hrs of fasting. Assuming the
diagnosis is right i have a question about the affect of diabetes on
sleep. Sometimes at night i get so hungry i cant sleep until i eat to
calm he craving down. In the hours between eating and when i drop off
i get a twitching in my muscles which makes it hard to sleep.I wonder
if this is an affect of high blood sugar?...loftyone@comcast.net
