Current non-invasive blood glucose meters?

Current non-invasive blood glucose meters? -- Posted by Johnny B on 07-05-04 04:44

I'm writing an essay about the future blood glucose meters,
are there any other current non-invasive models than the GlucoWatch and the
Pendra?

Thanks!

I'm afraid not. Non-invasive glucometers, and artificial pancreases, have
been "just around the corner" for at least 30 years that I've been watching
for them personally. The spectrographic analysis, which is appealing at
first glance, has simply proved infeasible to actually make reliable enough,
and there have been numerous extremely exciting stock frauds claiming that
companies had developed one.

If anyone tries to sell you a "we've got one, honest" line, watch for them
to be playing stock games with the company with the alleged solution.
