Howdy!
If anyone is interested, I run an online list community for diabetics
through yahoogroups. It's been up & running for more than three years, and
currently has over 250 members.
I've been a member here off and on for the last couple of years, and I don't
post much unless I have a specific question...but I frequently see new folks
post about wanting help because they are newly-diagnosed, and I thought I'd
post the information about my group. We have members from all over the
world, in every age group, EVERY phase of diagnosis (people who have been
diagnosed in the last week, as well as people who have been dealing with
this for more than 60 years), from every walk of life. We even have members
who, while not diabetic themselves, are members because they have a loved
one who is, and who refuses or doesn't know how to seek help.
Anyway....if anyone would like to check us out, just send a blank email to
Diabetes_Support_Group-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
Or, feel free to email me...but be sure you put something like "question
about your diabetes group" or something in the subject line.
