OK. I was thinking of selling myhouse and wondered if I bought it ten years
ago whether this would be a good time to move to smaller community where
inflation has not taken it's toll yet. I could possibly make a fat profit on
my home in the city.
Anybody have thought on this?

Inflation is countrywide. no-one is immune, but by all means sell now as
you'll realise a little profit and if you re-locate to a smaller dwelling,
you'll have a little spare cash to blow.

Regularly, but the houses I already own are best left rented out to make
money at present, because the housing market's taken a downturn, so quick
profits through selling aren't so easy as they were 2 years ago.
