Foundation, Rajkot; like other Rajkot based Insulin Dependent Diabetic
Children who take Insulin by Daily Injections. He is a member of more
than 224 Diabetic Groups consisting more than 20,000
Diabetic/Scientists/Researches/Heads of Diabetes Research Centers of
their Countries all over the world including U.K., U.S.A. & Egypt. He;
through internet; regularly receives latest research papers by which;
he knows very well that till date; Diabetes Type - 1 (Insulin
Dependant) is not curable; only controllable. These entire diabetic
have to compulsorily inject their daily dose of Insulin regularly. By
injecting insulin in their body daily; they are not going to be free of
this disease; they can only regulate their blood Glucose Level for
maximum 24 hours only. There is no medicine, which can cure such type
of diabetic all over the world. No O.H.A. (Oral Hypoglycemic Agent), no
medicine, which can be swallowed by mouth, is effective in this
disease. Vice President, American Diabetes Association certifies this
fact and an e-mail print out is exists with father of the diabetic
child. In conclusion, we can say that "Diabetes Type 1 is not
curable; only controllable"; till date.
We must praise the courage of the diabetic child for the fact that
before competiting all the Championships on various days of
Competitions; he took his regular dosage of Insulin by injection
himself & used his Pneumatic Air Rifle for constantly 1 hour 15 minutes
in single standing position as per the National Rules & won the Gold,
Silver & Bronze Medals in ". 177 Open Sight Air Rifle Sub Junior Men
Individual".
The diabetic child, as advised by his doctor, records himself his
Urine Blood Sugar through Ketodiastic daily 3 to 5 times. He takes his
daily dosage of Insulin (24 Units a day) by Injection at 1:00 p.m. &
7:30 p.m. daily.
There is a humble appeal of father of the diabetic child, Shri
Prakashbhai Thakrar, to all of you to send any information related to
