Pseudo hypoglycemia

Pseudo hypoglycemia -- Posted by EZGoinDm on 08-24-03 22:08

I was diagnosed (dx'ed???) July 8th. During my last Dr's visit he
mentioned that I could display hypoglcemic symptoms until my body
re-adjusts itself to the new lower levels.

I just had my lowest reading yet the other day since this all
began (90) and was rather grumpy, etc.

Anyone have a guestimate how long I can expect this to go on? (no I'm
not looking for a 3day, 5h, 45m15s type figure)

I can only tell you that in my case that it takes a few weeks of stable
sugars for my body to readjust. Then sugars too high or too low cause
symptoms but only if they don't swing too rapidly.

Hope that helps.

The cheapest at Wal-Mart is $ 42.48 for 100. I test 12 times a day. Yeah, I'm really thrilled if your diabetes is so well controlled that you need to test only a couple of times a day. Please, lets not get into the typical sidetracking about "why do you need to test 12 times a day ?" Is... (Read More)
