Hello Everyone, I have a favor to ask all the diabetics out there, new or
well versed young or young at heart. I have created a non- profit, site
www.beforethecure.com to offer help and information to diabetics and their
families, just another place to turn, my favor is if you have the time to
help me critique this site to make it better. Good and bad I would love to
hear all your ideas, I want this to be a useful site. Thank you in advance..

HI Shelly,

I'm taking a looksie now. The biggest problem I see is though it's really
pretty and well designed with all the pictures, people like me on dial up
have a longer wait for it to load and you may lose visitors due to the
length of time it's taking to load. My husband does webdesign for a living
and though our site www.bradymax.com doesn't look as pretty, with the
multiple meta tags and no pictures, it loads fast and is listed number one
on most of the search engines. You might think about this.. otherwise it's a
great site.. and remember this is only my stupid opinion and we all know
opinions are like bumholes, we all have one and not everyone wants to see
yours

Hello Shelley, My husband is still waiting after 5 minutes for the site to
DL onto his system. It took over three minutes for anything on dialup to
show and at 5 minutes the whole site is still not there, only the txt and a
few pics.. If I were you, as I said earlier, and my husband agrees, if you
want people to actually stay there to see what you have to say, you have to
remove the high grafix that take so long to DL, My husband stated he would
have left after the two minute mark, and that's typically the case with
sites.. If they take too long to DL people will go back to Yahoo.com and re
search whatever they were looking for... Whatever the picture was that was
taking somuch time to Download which was probably the background should be
removed, and we think that major thing might have beenthe cloudy bacjground
you have. In any case, more words, less graafix is the best way to go for an
informational site like yours...

Remember opinions are like assholes.. we all have one but no one necessarily
wants to see yours.. or hear of it
