Has anyone ever heard of lantus causing a reaction to regular insulin or the
cloudy insulin?

Well you can not mix Lantus with any other insulin other than that no.

yes.
Don't mix it with any other product. The pH difference is what makes
Lantus work the way it does. Mixing it with another insulin disturbs the
'balance' of Lantus.

I don't know much about Lantus, but i do know that if you have been a
diabetic for more than ten years you can develope a reaction to insulin
where it either doesn't work, or the dosage has to be drastically lowered
because it's working too well. Has to do with the ody building antibodies to
the repeated use of insulin. I went thru this about 5 years ago, that's the
only reason I know about it. But i wouldn't surpprise me that there might be
contraindications with other meds. One thing I recently learned was that
some antidpressants cause the sensory nerve in the brain of diabetics to
stop working, making it unlikely thatyou would feel a low bloodsugar. When I
found that ou it was a good thing someone else around me knew I wasn't an
ass, but a diabetic who was being rude because her level had dropped
