Now I'm puzzled Now I'm puzzled -- Posted by EZGoinDm on 08-31-03 22:00
On metformin alone, my BG was running about 95-125, after adding
mevacor, it went to 100-130, and after adding altace it's dropped to
85-115.
Not even the pharmacist running the Diabetes education class I'm
attending knows why that's happening, I haven't changed my eating
since adding the other 2 meds, nor changed activity level very much.
But since it HAS seemed to remain lower, I'm not complaining...

Well I wouldn't complain about a lower sugar and the amounts it was raised
and lowered by are so drastic I'd be worried... but have you checked on the
net to see what is the chemical make-up of the drugs you're on and what they
do to diabetic bodies...? That could be it.
