This is my first visit to this group and I thought I would introduce
myself and explain what brought me here. I have just received what you
might call a tentative diagnosis of diabetes. I've had two fasting blood
work-ups in the past few months at an Employment health caring program.
Both were in the 135 range for blood sugar. I went to my Doctor this
past Friday and he made a tentative diagnosis based on that and I am
awaiting a more specific test result this morning. I'm sure I will have
many more questions as I go through this process. I just wanted to drop
in and give a shout-out.... :)

There is a lot more traffic and good people (with the usual proportion of
villains and fools) on news:alt.support.diabetes and
news:misc.health.diabetes is geared more toward the scientific.
I don't think this group is carried by many news servers.
