Cutting out everything white has nothing to do with it. It's overall carbs
than raise your BG. Carbs are in pasta, bread, rice, cereal, fruit, juice,
milk, and many other foods.

The weight of what you eat has nothing to do with it.

Son of a BITCH.
I wondered why one of his google links linked to a post by Ron the spammer.

I should call Emory and do a background check now.

I agree with Julie here. Even Dr. St Amand (ick) does not claim that IR is
caused by fibro, he says that insulin resistance and (dam memory--the other
one--the one I am--and can't remember) are part of fibromyalgia and that they
will go away with his guafenisin protocol. ROFLOL As far as I know, only Dr.
SA has written more on IR than any other fibro doctor.

Which brings me to thyroid. Dr. John C. Lowe (DC) developed a thyroid protocol
for fibromyalgia and his diet and regimen will also lower your bad cholesterol
and raise your good cholesterol. The protocol is three fold: thyroid
replacement ( prefers cytomel or amour), the zone diet, and exercise to
tolerance. This is the basic protocol I've been using for a few years.

As always, YMMV,

Isn't insulin resistance increased when you have pain? Fibro causes pain so
why wouldn't that mean increased insulin resistance?
