Swallowing Metformin HCL pills -- choking hazard! (2 posts)

Hello All,
If I crush my wife's Metformin HCL pills, will it be harmful to her in any
way? Does anyone do this? I cannot find an answer to this question
anywhere. My wife is 66 years old and fairly beatup with health problems
