Perfumes contain hazardous chemicals Perfumes contain hazardous chemicals -- Posted by susie ann on 04-23-04 12:24
Hi all,
Perfumes aren't what they once were. I just read this book, Get A Whiff Of
This, by Connie Pitts. Perfumes contain chemicals listed on the EPA's
Hazardous Waste List, carcinogens (suspecting of causing the rise in breast
cancers and other cancers), and neurotoxins. You must read this book and
learn that our government knows all about it, and despite the efforts of
countless people working towards change, they do NOTHING, AS USUAL. It's a
shocking read. I bought my copy at www.1stbooks.com , but it's also on many
online book stores. Read the reviews on amazon.com if you think this is a
joke. It's the damn truth. The foreword was written by a Ph.D. You'll be
shocked to find out what's even in your detergents, hair gels, etc. The
chemicals can cause diseases you might not equate to the products, like crib
death or even MS. You must know the truth before it's too late.

The Bottom Line
No published research studies link MSM to any of the health claims made
by its marketers. Sulfur needed in human metabolism comes from dietary
protein. MSM supplements probably make little or no contribution to the
body's sulfur requirements. Thus there is no good reason to use M... (Read More)
