Insurance claims denied? Insurance claims denied? -- Posted by Jake Lu on 10-31-03 16:05
If you have purchased a long-term disability insurance policy from
Unumprovident or it's subsidiaries and have had your insurance claim denied
or found that your insurance is not what you expected, there is a site that
might be able to help you out. If you wish to voice your concern or
complain about an injustice you have experienced, or simply contact a lawyer
about your situation,
http://www.bigclassaction.com/class_action/first_unum.html is a site that
has lots of information about people who may have suffered as you have, and
may offer you the possibility to take action. If you are an individual
policy holder they have a more specific link at
http://www.bigclassaction.com/class_action/unum_individual.html that might
be better for you. There is also more information about other disability
insurance policy problems at http://www.worldjustice.com/disability/ if you
have a concern about a different insurer than Unumprovident. These sites
takes complaints and do free evaluations. They might be able to help.
